Water covers about 71% of the earth’s surface and 97% of that water is found in the oceans – making it too salty for drinking, growing crops, and most industrial uses. Only 3% of the earth’s water is fresh and nature does not consistently produce usable water. The chemicals used to produce “clean” water that keeps us safe are derived from petroleum products. #fossilfueled
